[Also in Division B8] A coupling 34, 35 for use with pallets 1 of storage equipment (Division B8) permits uncoupling of a pallet supported on a lift 33 which moves upwardly. In Fig. 22 (not shown) the coupling is inverted to enable a pallet on the lift to move downwardly. In Fig. 35, release of one pallet from another is possible by relative movement upwardly or downwardly, in addition to horizontal movement.
