[Also in Divisions G2-G3] 1,2 - Bis - (5 - tetrazolyl) - ethene is prepared by heating 0À4 mole of NaN 3 , 0À4 mole of NH 4 Cl and 0À2 mole of fumaronitrile in dimethyl formamide. 1,3 - Bis - (5 - tetrazolyl) - propane is prepared similarly from gluctaronitrile.
