1,207,766. Grinding wheels. NORTON CO. 12 March, 1969 [18 March, 1968], No. 13014/69. Heading C4V. An abrasive grinding wheel has 22-26% by volume of pores and has abrasive grits spinnel or mullite or a mixture of these of size 14 to 24 mesh constituting 44-62% by volume of the wheel, the remainder being a resin bond. The bond may be a phenolic resin and cryolite and calcium oxide fillers may also be present.
