Abstract

1,207,585. Scraping apparatus. AMSTED INDUSTRIES Inc. 27 June, 1968 [5 July, 1967], No. 30721/68. Heading E1F. Blades 19, 54 mounted on the side and bottom walls of a scraper are each formed with a plurality of tapered projections engaging respective recesses in supports 18, 60. The blades are held in the supports by pins 33, 65 each including two rigid elongated portions one on each side of a rubber portion. The blades 19 have ribs 47, 48 for engaging the sides of the outermost blades 54 to resist inward bending of the blades 19.
