Abstract

1,207,295. Delivery shoot of concrete mixer. CHALLENGE-COOK BROS. Inc. 12 May, 1969, No. 24177/69. Heading B8S. The delivery shoot of a rotary concrete mixer drum 10 is formed of four shoots 16, 22, 29 and 36, which shoot 16 is carried from track 15 by rollers 17 so as to be capable of movement about both vertical and horizontal axes, and each shoot is pivotally connected to the next shoot so that end shoot 36 may be raised to the position B and then shoot 29 may be raised about the pivot 30 to position C together with shoot 36 and finally the three shoots 36, 29 and 22 may be pivoted about pivot 23 assisted by springs 27 into the folded-up position shown. Shoot 16 is connected by fluid cylinder 19 to vertical pivot 21 so that the shoot unit may be rotated about the track 15.
