Abstract

1,204,776. Clothes-lines. T. M. GLEASON. 29 April, 1969 [2 May, 1968], No. 20768/68. Heading A4U. In a clothes line assembly a double line B, mounted by a ring A and tying ends to spaced supports, has both runs threaded through tensioners C and one run threaded through clothes pegs D which are engageable with the other run to secure washing thereon. The tensioners and clothes pegs are slidable along the line towards each other to tension the lines and maintain the clothes pegs against accidental disengagement.
