[Also in Division G1] In a sight glass mounting comprising spaced apertured end plates 11, an apertured displacement member 14 arranged at one end, at least, of the mounting and coaxial with the associated end plate 11, a U-sectioned seal 16 in engagement with end plate (11) aperture and with the seal limbs extending radially outwards and embracing the inner peripheries of the plate 11 and member 14, when provided, adjustment screws are provided to move the displacement member 14 axially into sealing engagement with the sight glass end 20.
