Abstract

120,343. Linn, H. H. April 30, 1918. Endless-trackvehicles. - An endless-track tractor comprises a frame 6, Fig. 1, to which forked members 34 are pivoted, and track blocks 35 pivoted to the fork members. Antifriction rollers 36 having oil-treated wooden centres and mounted on chaim 37, ride round the track blocks and bear on the lower runs of the endless tracks 8. The tracks comprise links 23, Fig. 3, having flanges 28 forming guides for the loadsupporting rollers 36 and provided at one end with pins 25 riding in sockets in the next link. The sockets are provided with grease cups. Detachable gripping members are provided. A harvester &c. may be driven from a crank-shaft 42 driven from the main shaft.
