A suspended ceiling panel 2 is mounted on a fixed bar 1 by turning the vertical limb of an L-shaped latching member 7 passing through the bar so as to cause the horizontal limb of the member 7, extending longitudinally of the bar, to swing round into engagement with a hook 5 (fig. 4 not shown) attached to a reinforcing batten 3 on the panel edge, an L- shaped stop member 9 limiting lifting of the latch member. In a suspended ceiling, the panel is supported on two fixed bars, spaced apart, the other edge of the panel being mounted on the second bar by means of L- shaped brackets (4, fig. 3 not shown).
