[Also in Division C4] A fluorescent arm band comprises an elastic strip 15 rivetted within the ends of a welded-up flat tube 10 of p.v.c. sheet having fluorescent material on its outer surface 11. A light-reflective piece of material (not shown) may be added to the surface 11, and if desired, the whole of the rear side of the tube 10 may be of reflective material, the arm band being turned inside out at night. In a modification the elasticated tube 10 is tapered so that one end fits within the other.
