Abstract

[Also in Division D1] A washing machine has a basket mounted in a liquid tank 11 having an opening in its base, connected to a drain pump, in which is removably mounted a cup-like filter 13 with filter openings in its sides to which access may be had through an opening in the basket 15 with a removable closure 16. As shown, the filter is of glass and has an integral handle 14.
