Abstract

1,196,571. Push buttons; escutcheons. REGIE NATIONALE DES USINES RENAULT and AUTOMOBILES PEUGEOT. 10 Jan., 1968 [11 Jan., 1967], No. 1392/68. Heading E2A. A push button for controlling a door lock in a motor vehicle includes a ring shaped element 7 concentric to the push button 5 and formed with lateral extensions 8, 9 having a height approximating to that of the push button in the vicinity thereof, which height decreases towards the outer end of the extensions. According to Fig. 4 the extensions are formed by a pair of blades 11 which extend from a base portion concentric with the push button. In a further form. Fig. 5, the extensions are formed by ribs 12 projecting from a base portion. In a modification, Fig. 6 (not shown) the extensions are grooved.
