Abstract
1,194,925. Magneto sensitive switching circuits. ELECTRONIX TEN Inc. 21 Sept., 1967, No. 43062/67. Heading H3T. [Also in Division G1] An arrangement for varying the resistance of a magneto-sensitive resistance device comprises means for generating an energy-field located to influence the resistance device and a power source for the field generator, and is characterized in having a resistor in series between the source and the generator for maintaining the field at a threshold value together with current control means shunted across the series resistor for raising the state of energization of the field generator to the degree required for setting the field-sensitive resistance device to a desired valve. A magnetizing winding producing a field through a magnetoresistance device is exemplified, the current control device across the series resistor comprising a short-circuiting switch or a switch in series with a resistor with a parallel capacitor to provide a surge to enhance the switching response of the field generator.
