Abstract

1,194,395. Spool support. SCHNELLFLEOHTER BERLIN VEB. 9 Nov., 1967, No 50926/67. Heading D1T. A plurality of supply spools 3, Fig. 1, are rotatably mounted on a common stationary shaft 2 with non-rotating plates 4 disposed between the spook 3. By rotating a nut 7, the compression exerted on the assemlbly by springs 5 is adjustable to control the draw-off tension in the material 8. To prevent the plates 4 from rotating, the shaft 2 is formed with a flat (2a) Fig. 2 (not shown) and the plates 4 are formed with central apertures corresponding to the resulting cross-section of the shaft 2. There may be non-rotating plates 4 between the springs 5 and the spools 3. The sides of the plates 4 adjacent the spools 3 may be covered with a brake lining material
