1,193,447. Measuring short time intervals. TELEFUNKEN PATENTVERWERTUNGS - G.m.b.H. July 31, 1967 [Aug.11, 1966], No.35068/67. Heading G1U. In measuring a short time interval between two voltage jumps, U 1 , U 2 , the latter are fed with opposite polarity to a respective one of two passive signal channels I, II, and the output of a third channel III branched out of the other two gives an indication of the required time interval, the channels having matched characteristic impedances. The channels I and II may be in series or in parallel and the output of the channel III is measured by an integrator J feeding an analogue-digital converter W which gives a direct reading of the time interval.
