Abstract

1,190,704. Display devices. E. C. WALKER. 10 Feb., 1969 [15 Feb., 1968], No. 7471/68. Heading G5C. In the type of decorative display device wherein one liquid is caused to circulate through another liquid in a container on application of heat thereto from a source disposed beneath the container base (as in Specification 1,034,255), the circulating liquid is illuminated by light of several colours depending on its position in the container. As described, the effect is achieved by painted rings or stripes of various colours on the container, or by using several differently coloured lamp bulbs. Specifications 1,168,625 and 1,186,769 are referred to.
