Abstract
1,188,274. Spray dyeing. EUGEN BELLMANN G.m.b.H. 3 Jan., 1969 [18 Jan., 1968], No. 649/69. Heading D1L. Dye liquor is sprayed on to both the inside and outside of pullovers supported on formers in a pressure vessel, collected at the bottom of the vessel and recirculated. As shown, each former 3 has an internal vertical spray pipe 7 connected to a horizontal branch pipe 9 and common distributing pipe 8. Each vertical spray pipe may have side branch spray pipes (Fig. 4 not shown). Alternatively, the vertical pipe may have a tiltable crosspiece (Fig. 5 not shown). In another embodiment, the vertical pipe may be connected directly to a portable distributing pipe (Figs. 6 and 7 not shown).
