Boxes combined with igniting-appliances; matches, boxes specially designed for; match-box holders.-A holder for short-stemmed matches is attached to a chain f, which is secured to a spring clip h slipped over one end of the drawer g<1> of a match-box, or to an angle-plate, Fig. 2, with one part i<1> bearing against the skellet g and the other part i<2> bearing against the drawer g<1>; by this means the box may be suspended from the holder when a match is, being used.
