Abstract

1,183,878. Lasts. RALPHS UNIFIED Ltd. 26 Aug., 1968 [25 Aug., 1967], No. 39133/67. Addition to 1,114,241. Heading A3B. The last of the Parent Specification which consists of a fixed heel part 10 and forepart sole plate 11 and a movable forepart top portion 13 is modified by detachably mounting the sole plate 11 on the heel part 10 so that the sole plate 11, together with the top part 13, can be exchanged to suit different styles of shoes. The heel part 10 is secured to a support 14 by a screw 17 and the sole plate 11 is secured to a shelf 14a on the support 14 by a screw 18. The forepart top portion 13 is secured to a holder 20 which has two webs 20a, 20b which embrace a web 25 on the support 14 to guide the top portion 13 during its fore and aft movement.
