Abstract

1,182,887. Beehives. W. B. BIELBY. 19 Sept., 1968, No. 44473/68. Heading A1M. A brood chamber for honey-bees consists of walls 10 connected by a wall 12 having an interior catenary contour 14. A number of brood frames 25 are also provided in the chamber and a disc 26 co-operates with grids having differentsize apertures in a wall 10 to control the entry of bees. An aperture 11 provides ventilation or connection of an Apidictor (R.T.M.) to the chamber.
