1,180,449. Cardiac stimulators. CHIRANA ZAVODY ZDRAVOTNICKEJ TECHNIKY ODBOROVY PODNIK. 17 March, 1967 [25 March, 1966], No. 12646/67. Heading A5R. [Also in Division H3]. An electrical circuit for an implantable cardiac stimulator comprises a blocking oscillator circuit C 1 , D 3 , T 1 controlling a switching circuit T 2 whose output may be connected to stimulation electrodes, the blocking oscillator having a timing capacitor C 1 and a discharge path for the capacitor which includes at least one diode D 1 , D 2 (either silicon diodes or a Zenor diode) connected in series with a resistor R 1 , R 2 , the diode and resistor providing a means for stabilizing the frequency of the oscillator against a decrease in supply voltage to the oscillator.
