1,179,689. Clothes airers; laundry lines. GUNTER LEIFHEIT K.G. 4 May, 1967 [5 May, 1966], No. 20830/67. Heading A4U. Rings 6, secured to laundry-support lines 7, are slidable on outer arms 5 and are collected on inner arms 4 of a wall bracket 3 so that the arms 5 can be folded inwards to cover the lines when out of use. A rod 9 secured to the outermost rings maintains the arms extended and the rings are interconnected by cords 8. In modifications the arms 4 are secured directly to a wall or the bracket 3 is formed as a box receiving the lines and closed by the arms.
