1,179,040. Laminates. IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd. 18 June. 1968 [21 June, 1967], No. 28702/67. Heading B5N. [Also in Division C3] Laminates, e.g. of glasscloth or asbestos paper or asbestos cloth, may be prepared using a solution of an organopolysiloxane having 1 to 1À6 organo groups per Si atom containing as catalyst 0À01 to 0À06% of lead 3: 5: 5-trimethylhexoate plus 0À1 to 0À6% of a butyltin 2-ethylhexoate, these percentages relating to the weight of polysiloxane. In examples asbestos paper or glass cloth is laminated using a toluene solution of a methylphenylpolysiloxane containing 0À02 or 0À04% of lead trimethylhexoate and 0À2 or 0À3% of mono-, di- or tri-butyltin tri-, di- or mono-2-ethylhexoate.
