Abstract
1,178,898. Microphone circuits; amplifiers. AKUSTISCHE U. KINO-GERATE G.m.b.H. 12 Dec., 1967 [30 Dec., 1966], No. 56306/67. Headings H3B and H4J. A capacitive transducer, e.g. a capacitor microphone, C K is connected in a bridge circuit including a reference capacitor C1 and inductors L 0 and L 1 . The bridge is fed with a radio frequency voltage at the resonant frequency of L 1 C 1 , applied across terminals AB from an oscillator M 0 , and the unbalance voltage of the bridge is taken across terminals CD via a transformer T1. The secondary of transformer T1 is connected in a phase sensitive detector circuit comprising a transformer T2 whose primary is fed from the bridge supply source, with the bridge output voltage applied to the centre tap of the secondary winding. A voltage dependent on the capacitance variations of the transducer C K is developed across the circuit output transformer.
