Abstract

1,177,454. Adjustable extrusion die heads. ESSO RESEARCH & ENG. CO. 24 Dec., 1968 [26 Jan., 1968], No. 4191/68. Addition to 1,126,100. Heading B5A. The extrusion die head described in Specification 1,126,100 is modified by the provision of rings 23 on die member 10 in addition to plates 13 on die member 11. Addition or subtraction of such rings and plates allows variations in diameter of the extruded tubing to be made. The plates and/or rings may be oblate.
