Abstract

1,177,298. Mirrors. HARRIS LEBUS Ltd. 10 July, 1968 [30 Aug., 1967], No. 39618/67. Heading A4V. [Also in Division E2] A device for supporting a mirror on an article of furniture such as a dressing table comprises a spigot part 1 and a socket part 2 for connection one to the mirror and the other to the article, the socket, in use, allowing the spigot to be displaced in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the plane of the mirror between two limiting positions at each of which the mirror is held in a set position, the spigot and socket parts having shoulders 11, 21, 22 which are shaped so that, in use, one portion of the spigot shoulder 11 engages one portion 21 or 22 of the socket shoulder when the mirror is in one set position, and another portion of the spigot shoulder 11 engages another portion 22 or 21 of the socket shoulder when the mirror is in the other set position. As shown, the spigot and socket parts are moulded from a plastics material.
