1,175,552. Ring spanners. PADLEY & VENABLES Ltd. 31 Jan., 1968 [6 Jan., 1967], No. 830/67. Heading B3N. A ring spanner comprises an aperture formed by faces 4-9, in a head 2, a handle 26a and a nut-engaging rod 11 slidable in the head. Rod 11 has teeth which engage with a pinion 24 the pinion being rotated so as to move the rod, by the removable handle 26a. Rod 11 may be moved quickly by rotating the pinion so that its teeth are disengaged from those on the rod.
