[Also in Divisions B8 and C5] A pad for degreasing human hair comprises a porous base, e.g. a paper or textile towel, having incorporated in or on, microcapsules composed of a rupturable mantle, e.g. of gelatin/gum arabic, enclosing a droplet of an organic solvent for grease, e.g. dichlorethane. In an example, such a pad is made by sandwiching microcapsules and an adhesive between two layers of absorbent paper.
