Abstract

1,175,195. Electric couplings. ELEKTROMAT VEB. 21 Dec., 1966, No. 57087/66. Heading H2E. A device for making contact at a controllable pressure with a layer in a transistor, so that the layer may be connected to test apparatus, incorporates a contact making point 5 supported by a triangular arm 1 which carries counterweights 3 and can pivot about jewelled bearings (6, 7, Fig. 3). A pressure-adjusting system incorporates a pivoted leaf-spring 20, whose position can be adjusted at one end by a screw 22, and whose other end bears on a bracket 17 which in turn bears on a pivot 11 mounted on a crosspiece of the arm 1. Damping of any movement is provided by a tongue 14 mounted on the arm 1 and immersed in liquid 23.
