1,173,557. Crane crabs. CARL SCHENCK MASCHINENFABRIK G.m.b.H. 6 Aug., 1968 [18 Aug., 1967], No. 37545/68. Heading B8B. In a crane crab which has drums 1, 2 for the holding and closing lines of a four-line grab, the drums are resiliently mounted at one of their ends by spring arms 5-8 and bearing members 3, 4 which rest one on top of the other and are supported by a load cell 14. A load transmitting roller 12 is interposed between flanges 11, 13 of the bearing members and the load cell is in the form of a strut.
