Abstract
1,173,493. Winding stators. ELECTROMAT, VEB. 7 Feb., 1967, No. 5775/67. Heading B3A. A stator winding machine comprises a longitudinally reciprocable winding arm 1 upon which are resiliently mounted cam-actuated wire locating members 5 in frictional contact with a winding former 8. The locating members are attached to the arm 1 either by a leafspring 3 or a spring-loaded tube 15, either of which are free to oscillate through an angle α. The wire 14 is led to the members 5 over a roller 4 from a supply reel. The tube 15 is provided either with lateral springs (18), Fig. 5 (not shown), or with an axial spring 13, in which latter case the movement of the arm is controlled by superposed cam-plates 20. The camcontrolled tube is mounted on a shaft 22 fitted with rollers 21. These rollers are maintained in contact with the camming faces of the plates 20 by the spring 13 and the plates are displaceable in the directions of the arrows WX and YZ by suitable connection members and they can be locked, if required. In this embodiment the winding former 8 serves only as a protection for insulation in the stator slots.
