Abstract

1,172,665. Fishing rods. DAVENPORT & FORDHAM Ltd. 28 June, 1968, No. 31152/68. Heading A1A. A fishing rod has a portion 4 between two handles 2, 3, said portion being flattened over at least part of its length. By flattened is meant that the cross sectional width is greater than the depth, the width being the dimension lying at right angles to the plane of casting. The cross sectional shape of said flattened portion which is preferably tubular may be triangular rectangular, hexagonal, oval etc. Specification 1,172,666 is referred to.
