Abstract
1,170,596. Electric correspondence control systems. FILOTECNICA SALMOIRAGHI S.p.A. Sept.16, 1966 [Nov. 19, 1965], No.41465/66. Heading G1N. The attitude of a body mounted on a body carrying a gyroscope is automatically stabilized by electric signals from the gyro. As applied to stabilizing the attitude of an instrument mounted on a ship an attitude gyro g Fig. 1, on the ship produces an alternating voltage giving an indication of roll amplitude, frequency and mean list of the ship. This voltage, after amplification at a, is applied to a demodulator c which also receives a reference voltage from an amplifier b. The direct voltage output of demodulator c is applied through an amplifier d and biased diode limiter e to produce an output which is utilized to stabilize the instrument. To eliminate drift, the limited output signal is also applied through an integratoramplifier f as negative feedback for combination with the output of demodulator c. Suitable transistor circuits are outlined.
