Abstract

116,889. Joubert, L. June 4, 1917, [Convention date]. Conduits; supporting.-Branches from electric lines are led into buildings through tubes or brackets a supporting the insulator arms. The tubes are covered internally and externally with insulating material and bent at the outer or upper ends to prevent the entrance of rain &c. Fig. 5 shows a modified arrangement for a vertical tube taking three or more conductors. A cap g is mounted on the end of the tube and formed with holes which are screened from the weather.
