1,168,721. Herbicides containing oxadiazolidines. BADISCHE ANILIN-& SODA FABRIK A.G. 21 Feb., 1967 [22 Feb., 1966], No. 8167/67. Heading ASE. [Also in Division C2] A herbicidal composition contains as active ingredient an oxadiazolinone of the formula I: wherein X is a halo, nitro, trifluoromethyl, methyl, methoxy, phenoxy, substituted phenoxy, methylsulphonyl or substituted methylsulphonyl radical, n is an integer of 1 to 3 and R is an aliphatic radical, optionally substituted by halogen or methoxy, or a benzyl, acetyl carboxymethyl or cyclohexyl radical. The composition may contain a solid or liquid carrier and may be in the form of a solution, emulsion, suspension, or dust, wettable powder or emulsifiable concentrate.
