Abstract

1,164,843. Finger rings. N. D. GILL. 4 Sept., 1967 [4 June, 1966], No. 24995/66. Heading A3H. A ring comprises two interengaged ring parts 11, 12 each having a helical surface 13 and a part cylindrical surface 14. The surfaces 13, 14 interfit respectively to form one complete ring. The two parts may be held together by two pins on one part engaging holes in the other part. Each part may have a motif or the surface may be faceted or engraved. One part may have one or more gem stone or stones. The helical surfaces may be engraved with wording which is invisible when the ring is worn. The ring may comprise a combined wedding ring and engagement ring.
