Abstract

Apparatus for withering tea comprises a trough having superimposed foraminous leafreceiving floors arranged in spaced relationship and means for circulating air upwardly and/or downwardly therethrough. A removable hood may be mounted on the trough which is connectible to a suitably conditioned air supply. The floors are formed of removable trays or tiltable slats.
