Abstract
1,164,212. Garment hangers. G. KOELLNER. 17 March, 1967, No. 12587/67. Heading A4U. A trouser hanger has gripping rails a<SP>1</SP>, a<SP>2</SP> carried by spring wire arms c<SP>1</SP>, c<SP>2</SP> which cross each other within a ring e, the crossing point d moving to a lower position when the rails are closed to grip the trousers by hand pressure applied to the rails, and moving to an upper position when the rails are opened by hand pressure applied to resilient loops f<SP>1</SP>, f<SP>2</SP>, the ring moving to the crossing point to lock the rails in both positions. The rails may be formed of bent wire, attached to the arms by metal plates h<SP>1</SP>, h<SP>2</SP>, and provided with ribbed rubber sleeves b to aid retention of the trousers.
