Abstract

1,162,503. Earth-moving slope grader. R. L. LAUNDER. 14 Dec., 1966 [11 April, 1966], No. 56041/66. Heading E1F. A slope grader for attachment to a grader blade 2 comprises a hinge 10 having one part for securing to the blade 2 and another part carrying a beam 15 to which is secured a mould board-grader blade combination 31. The beam 15 is, preferably, connected to the second hinge part by hinge means 14 that allow of adjustment of the beam 15 about an axis at right angles to that of the hinge 10 by a jack 17 secured between the hinge 10 and the mouldboard. To the mouldboard is secured a trailing brace of adjustable length by which the mouldboard is coupled to the tractormounted frame carrying the blade 2 when the slope grader is mounted on the blade 2.
