A bi-stable pneumatic circuit comprises two cross-coupled NOR units 1, 2, Fig. 1. The arrangement is set to produce a " one " output from one of the two NOR units 1, 2, by applying a " one " pulse to the other, this being effected directly over inputs B 1 , B 2 or by a pulse I routed via a two-way gate 3 to one of the inputs A 1 , A 2 under the control of steady inverse pressure signals H 1 , H 2 .
