Abstract

1,156,718. Suitcase. SINCLAIR OWEN & CO. Ltd. 29 Sept., 1967 [26 Nov., 1966], No. 53040/66. Heading A4G. In a suitcase of the kind comprising a rectangular fibre-board base panel (13) stitched to a fibre-board band (16) bent round to form the side walls, the butt-joint between the ends 20, 21 of the band (16) is covered with a metal or plastics plate 22 riveted to bridging strip 24 inside the case. The plate 22 may be extended to cover the ends of any piping (19) introduced into the joint between band (16) and the base panel (13).
