[Also in Division F4] A filter for a cooker hood comprises parallelogram shaped packs 12, at least partly of activated carbon, held above a coarse filter 19 in a tray which slides into the casing of the hood-. The tray has openings in its base and inclined front wall. The coarse filter may be of glass wool or may be a metal web. In another construction the packs may rest on bars 15. The end faces of the packs may have recesses engaged by springs 17 on the casing to provide an approximate location.
