[Also in Division C3] A laminated safety-glass comprises layers of glass bonded together with an interlayer which comprises a plasticized polyvinyl acetal and one or more alkali metal or alkaline earth metal salts of acetic or propionic acids which have been substituted by halogen atoms or amino, hydroxy, aryl, aryloxy or alkyl groups, e.g. lithium, potassium or magnesium salts of glycine, glycolic acid, phenyl or phenoxymethyl acetic acid or chloracetic acid. Preferably, an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal acetate, e.g. potassium acetate is also present in the interlayer.
