1,145,842. Apparatus for determining points of symmetry of symmetrical waves. MARCONI CO. Ltd. 28 March, 1966 [27 Aug., 1965], No. 36896/65. Heading G4H. Apparatus for measuring the point of symmetry of a symmetrical waveform comprises gating means 4 (Fig. 2) through which clock pulses are fed to a counter 5, the gate being closed when the waveform reaches a predetermined amplitude and a further gate 8 then enabled to pass clock pulses of half the frequency to the counter 5 until the same amplitude is next reached. The count then represents the point of symmetry of the waveform.
