1,144,560. Plasticized cellulose acetate. CELANESE CORP. 27 Sept., 1966 [30 Sept., 1965], No. 43070/66. Heading C3F. Cellulose acetate contains up to 12À5% by weight of 2,2,4-trimethylpentane-1,3-diisobutyrate as plasticizer. Films may be cast from such a composition in, e.g. acetone or MeOH/ methylene chloride, optionally together with hydrated alumina or stearic acid. Films may also be made from the melt.
