[Also in Divisions C7 and H1] B 2 O 3 modified sodium beta-alumina slabs (see Specification 1,142,798) may be prepared by adding 0À1 to 1 weight per cent B 2 O 3 to the powdered beta-alumina before sintering. Example 1 describes such a process.
