An L-shaped bracket I for the edge of a flat concrete roof 7 carries an edging member 2 and is fixed to the roof with an underlay 4 comprising one or more sheets of plastics material, each with a performed pattern of elongated holes 9 therethrough, corresponding to an identical pattern of holes in the horizontal arm 8 of the bracket 1.
