1,140,703. Safety arrangements for hot water boilers; central heating systems. BETEILIGUNGS - UND PATENTVERWALTUNGS G.m.b.H. 25 March, 1966 [27 March, 1965], No. 13385/66. Headings F4A and F4U. A solid or liquid fired central heating hot water boiler, has a safety arrangement comprising a thermostat set to operate at 75 C., which then actuates a mixing valve whereby the overheated water in the boiler is connected to the central heating system so causing the boiler water to be cooled.
