[Also in Division A5] A nutritionally-balanced animal feed effective in accelerating the growth rate of the animal contains 10-300 grams per ton of feed of a tetracycline antibiotic, for example oxyetetracycline hydrochloride, 10-300 grams per ton of feed of neomycin, for example as the sulphate, and 5-150 grams per ton of feed of penicillin, for example as procaine penicillin. Vitamins, trace elements and nutrients may also be present.
