The subject matter of this Specification is described in Specification 1,136,475 but the claims are directed to a laser including a Nd<SP>+3</SP> activator impurity and a Mn<SP>+2</SP> sensitizer impurity. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specification 1,015,057.
